Join us as we celebrate the holiday season with an "Americanized" version of the classic "German Christmas Market" or Weihnachtsmarkt in honor of Newport News' Sister City of Greifswald, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The market operates over two days from 3-9 pm and features 30+ vendors, German themed food, locally made German style beer and the return of our beloved handmade Gluhwein pottery mugs.

Sister Cities Newport News (SCNN) German Christmas Market or WEIHNACHTSMAKT is located in the retail area of City Center, Oyster Point. Vendor spaces are limited. Preference is given to vendors who have exhibited with us in the past and those offering handmade items. Vendors will be selected to ensure a variety of products and not all will be approved. Insurance is required.
The nonprofit Sister Cities of Newport News, Inc. is responsible for beer & wine sales on site.
