Each year, Sister Cities members gather for our Annual Membership Meeting to elect Board Members, review the activities of the last year and announce coming events and exchanges. It is a fun evening of reflection with great food and friends.

2022 Annual General Membership Meeting

The 2021 Annual Membership Meeting was held Thursday, December 2 at our new office in City Center, Oyster Point. We elected Board members, review the year’s successes and discussed plans for exchanges in 2022. Additionally, we congratulated cyclists who participated in the “City Cycling” competition with Germany.
Despite the pandemic, 2021 brought many accomplishments—new programs & grants, virtual exchanges, quarterly member events and a new home—CITYSPACE! |

2020 Annual Meeting Goes Virtual!
Like many organizations, Sister Cities has been working hard to "Pivot & Adapt" in the changing environment brought on by COVID-19. As a non-profit focused on in-person, international exchanges, the effects of the pandemic have been profound. Join us to learn how we are working to adapt in this new landscape while continuing our mission "to build and strengthen international cooperation, understanding and development between the citizens of the City of Newport News and those of the world."
