A young city in
an ancient land.
Founded in 1951, its proximity to Osaka and to the spiritual and cultural
centers of Kyoto and Nara position it at the junction of Japan's past
and future. Neyagawa is in some ways an Eastern counterpart to Western
suburbs - many of its citizens work in nearby Osaka.
